What Will I Pay?
Your insurance plan determines what you owe for each visit.
Depending on your benefits, your out-of-pocket cost may include:
A copay
Coinsurance
An amount applied toward your deductible
Being in-network does not always mean your visits will be free, but it means SideBy Care participates with your insurance plan, and your costs are based on your plan's in-network benefits.
We Verify Your Benefits Before You Begin
You don't have to figure out your benefits on your own.
Before you begin the program, the SideBy Care team verifies your insurance benefits and reviews available information about:
In-network status
Deductible
Copay
Coinsurance
Mind-Gut Specialist benefits
Registered Dietitian benefits
We'll review this information with you so you have a better understanding of how much your insurance company will pay and your potential costs before you start the program.
Your insurance company makes the final determination about coverage and the amount you owe after a claim is processed.
What About Registered Dietitian Visits?
Insurance benefits for Registered Dietitian visits vary by plan.
Some insurance plans provide benefits for both Mind-Gut Specialist and Registered Dietitian visits, while others may provide benefits for Mind-Gut Specialist visits only.
We'll verify your benefits and explain which services are available through your plan before treatment begins.
If your plan does not include Registered Dietitian benefits, you can still participate in the SideBy Care Program through virtual visits with a Mind-Gut Specialist, who can also share nutrition resources with you.
How Does Billing Work?
SideBy Care works directly with your GI practice to bill your insurance.
Your GI practice submits claims to your insurance and bills you for any amount your insurance determines you owe, such as a deductible, copay, or coinsurance.
You will not receive a separate bill from SideBy Care.
How Do I Get Started?
SideBy Care is available through participating GI practices and requires an order from your GI provider.
